Annie Mae (Flowers) Davis

*Sister Annie Mae Flowers-Davis was born January 4, 1922 in Omaha, Georgia to the late John and the late Roszina Flowers. An angel embraced her spirit and she departed this life peacefully at home early in the morning on Thursday, December 21, 2017 surrounded by loving Family.

*Sis. Davis was united in holy matrimony to Bro. Henry F. Davis for 54 years. She was a faithful member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Omaha, Georgia. She was a lifetime member of the Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 138. 

*Sis. Davis was preceded in death by a loving  husband, her parents, two daughters, two sisters, three brothers, two granddaughters, and four grandsons. 

*She leaves to cherish her memories: nine children, Viola Jackson, Lufkin, Texas, Eva (Robert) Howard, Omaha, Georgia, Christine Crayton, Dorothy J. (Bobby) Davis, Brenda S. (Prather) Edmonds, all of Columbus, Georgia,  Josephine Brown, Albany, Georgia,  Norma J. (Willie) Redding, Omaha, Georgia, Henry Davis, Jr, Hartford, Connecticut, and James E. Davis, Huntsville, Alabama; two sisters, Annie Ruth (Nelson) Brinkley and Jessie Nickerson, Columbus, Georgia; two sisters-in-law, Julia Flowers, Perry, Florida and Corintha Harris, Pennsylvania; twenty grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren; twenty-one great great grandchildren; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives; her Mt. Moriah Church Family; and a very special family member and loving friend, Zobedia Armour, Columbus, Georgia.
