"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints." Psalm 116:15 ~ (KJV)
"The days of our years are threescore years and ten; And if by reason of strength they be fourscore years yet is their strength labour and sorrow; For it is soon cut off, and we fly away." Psalm 90:10 ~ (KJV)
"Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven. Therefore, we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord. We live by faith, not by sight. We are confident, I say and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord." 2 Corinthians 5:1, 6-8 ~ (KJV)
An earthly light has gone out, but where Mother Eugene Knighton is, no earthly light is needed. A woman of great faith that loved her church, her family, and her neighbors.
