"To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." ~ 2 Corinthians 5:8 On Tuesday, January 10, 2023, God in his infinite wisdom, brought PEACE in Mr. Roosevelt Ford's life. God called him home where his soul is at rest. "Peace, is what I leave with you; it is my own peace that I give you." ~ John: 14:27
Please join us in a "Celebration of Life" ceremony for Mr. Roosevelt Ford on Saturday, January 21, 2023. Graveside services will be held at Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 322 Philadelphia Baptist Church Road, Lumpkin, Georgia 31815 at 12 noon.

Visitation will take place on Friday, January 20, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the Joseph N. Booth Memorial Chapel of The Thomas Funeral Home, 218 Surles Street, Lumpkin, Georgia 31815.
The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to those who gave comfort in their time of bereavement. They want to thank everyone for their prayers, phone calls, cards, floral arrangements, and on-line condolences.
